The body of Thomas A. Robertson was brought here from Newcastle on Friday and buried in Maple Ridge after funeral services at the Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Victor Keiser, Mrs. Banta and Mrs. Elby Emmert sang Your Best Friend is Jesus and Jesus, Savior Pilot Me, with Mrs. Dan gOodwin at the piano. The pall bearers were: harmon Zachary; Jesse McMains; Ott Kolling; Hubert Loudermill; Snford Moody and Earl McNutt. The flwoers were carried by Mrs. Heinen; Mrs. Kirshman; Mrs. Loudermill and Miss Elizabeth Eblin. Thomas A. Robertson, son of Zachary and Ellen Jackson Robertson was born Jan 1854, near Lebanon, Ind. moved with his parents to Montgomery County near Waveland when he was 5. He lived on a farm until he grew to manhood, coming to Waveland later, where he spent the remainder of his life, except during the last six months, which were with his daughter, Mrs. Bessie Fels in Newcastle, where he passed away on July 5, 1932, after two months times aged 78 years and six months. He was married in 1880 to Mary GILTNER. To this union were born 3 children: mrs. Eugene Hawley of Nitro, W Va; Mrs. Bessie Fells (sic) of Newcastle, Ind and Mrs. Nellie Hunt who died in 1926. He is survived by two daughters, rs. Bessie Fels (sic) and Mrs. Anna Hawley; two brothers, JW Robertson and Fred Robertson; one sister, Mrs. Ella Butcher and one granddaughter, Miss Evelyn Hunt. He has been a member of the ME church of this place since boyhood. Those present from a distance were Mrs. Bessie Fels (sic) of Newcaslte; Mrs. Ella Butcher and Mrs. Harrigan of Linden; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Robertson of Lapel; Mrs. Fred Hunt and daughter and son, Leonard Grimes and Miss Evelyn Hunt of Crawfordsville, Frank and Edward Boyland of Nebraska.

Thomas Robertson, brother of J. W. Robertson died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bessie Fels in Newcastle on Tuesday evening. About two months ago he suffered a paralytic stroke but seemed to be recovering from it although still confined to his bed. The body will be brought here today Friday and funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church at two in the afternoon. He was 78 years old and was the son of Zachary Robertson. He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Fels and Mrs. Eugene Hawley of Sattas, West VA.
